Solutions for the Transport of Bulk Commodities in Containers
Industries such as agriculture, mining, chemicals, biomass energy and recycling frequently use standard containers to transport products like grains, pellets, powders, fertilizers, scrap metal and minerals.
Traditionally, manual loading and unloading presents a series of significant challenges:
- Low efficiency and high labor intensity
- Inadequate container volume utilization
- Material loss and dust pollution
- Safety risks during unloading
For example, unloading a 20-foot container loaded with 25 tons of corn or soybeans typically requires 4-6 workers to enter the container to clear the cargo, and the entire process usually takes 2-3 hours to complete. If the material has poor flowability, such as wood chips or feed pellets, unloading time may even extend to 3-4 hours.
However, using a container tilter for loading and unloading, the entire unloading process can be completed in just 5 minutes, increasing efficiency by 10 times.

Challenges in Loading and Unloading Bulk Cargo Containers
1. How to Load and Unload Bulk Cargo Containers in 5 Minutes?
2. How to Increase Container Space Utilization to 100%?
3. How to completely eliminate workplace accidents?
4. How to minimize dust and maximize cleanliness during loading and unloading?
Tonglida Bulk Cargo Handling Solutions
We provide solutions tailored to your needs
Solution 1: 20-foot Container Tilter with Conveyor Belt
One of the most efficient solutions for loading bulk materials into containers is the use of a 20-foot container tilter paired with a conveyor belt system.
Key Advantages: High efficiency, maximum capacity, and requires only one operator.
How the System Works?
- Place the 20-foot container on the container tipper platform.
- The container is securely locked in place by a clamping system.
- Hydraulic cylinders tilt the container to a predetermined angle.
- The belt conveyor feeds bulk material into the container through the opening at the top.
- The material flows downward by gravity, gradually filling the container.
- Because the container remains tilted during loading, the material automatically distributes itself evenly inside.
Option 2: 20-foot Container Tipper with Hopper Discharge System
Advantages include high-throughput unloading and a high level of cleanliness, thanks to the dust collection system and enclosed hopper.
- The container is transported to the site by truck or trailer.
- The container is secured to the tipping platform.
- The hydraulic system tilts the container to an angle of 30° – 45°.
- Bulk cargo flows out of the container under the force of gravity.
- The material falls into the receiving hopper.
- The hopper conveys the material to downstream conveyor belts, silos, or processing lines.

Designed for Real Industrial Conditions
The advantages of our equipment are not just marketing gimmicks – they genuinely solve problems at our customers’ sites.
We adapt the equipment to fit the space available in factories or warehouses, rather than requiring customers to build large-scale civil engineering foundations.
Our equipment features anti-corrosion coatings, high- and low-temperature adaptability, and rust-proof and waterproof designs, truly withstanding various harsh environments - including wind, sun, rain, snow, extreme heat, freezing cold, dust, and explosion-proof requirements.
Whether dealing with granular, powdery, or block-shaped materials, the equipment achieves stable loading and unloading through its adjustable tilt angle design.
Many countries are currently facing high labor costs and recruitment challenges. This bulk cargo loader requires only one operator to control the loading and unloading of goods.
The main structure is welded from high-strength steel and reinforced with a sturdy frame, enabling it to withstand long-term, repetitive tilting operations with fully loaded containers, ensuring stable equipment operation.
The equipment uses standardized hydraulic components and is constructed entirely from high-strength steel welded together, ensuring it will not fail within 15 years. Spare parts are all international standard components and are easy to source. Should any issues arise, our after-sales team will respond within 2 hours.
